The Discernment Committee is part of a team including the Bishop, Vestry, Consultant, and the Canon for Transition Ministry, all working together to discern God’s will in calling our next Rector. The Discernment Committee has been gathering information through our survey, small group meetings and Holy Conversation. This information will help us write the parish profile which will be published to our website by the end of November. After publishing the parish profile we will review applications and visit and interview candidates with a goal of recommending someone to the vestry by March or April. The profile will define who St. James is, where we want to go, and what kind of Rector we desire to lead us.
