The Welcome Committee encourages opportunities for all parishioners to welcome guests and to support and care for newcomers as they are assimilated into the St. James family. A quarterly newcomer Sunday brunch provides get-to-know-you time with members.

The Redevelopment Committee examines all aspects of our lives at St. James and creates a program that builds on our strengths, challenges our imaginations and provides opportunities for spiritual growth.

The CARE Committee is the primary organization at St. James that directs outreach. The committee raises and manages funds that are directed to specific community agencies and endeavors to keep parishioners in touch with the work and the specific needs of those agencies.

The Art and Furnishings Committee makes recommendations for vestry consideration concerning the stewardship and maintenance of art and artifacts owned by the church. The committee is responsible for selection of decorative and architectural additions or replacements and evaluates the appropriateness of in-kind donations.

The Hospitality Committee promotes social activities and solicits hosts for the after service refreshments, third Sunday lunches and other special events. The committee provides necessary supplies and maintains the kitchen.
