Prayer. Daughters of the King, whose main ministry is prayer, welcome receiving names from the clergy, pew cards, emails or phone calls, or word of mouth. Adult churchwomen are invited to join Daughters of the King.
Communion. Eucharistic Visitors take communion to people unable to attend church. Anyone wishing to have communion brought to his or her home following the Sunday services or the Wednesday healing service simply needs to let the rector or the church office know.
Visits. Parishioners in this ministry offer to visit people in need who would welcome seeing familiar faces. Such visits can be cheering and uplifting to people who are experiencing sickness, loneliness, grief, or any other difficulties.
Food. parishioners who love to cook are needed for this ministry. Other parishioners experiencing crises may often need help, and providing food is a generous and needed act of love.
Cards • Email • Telephone Calls. Parishioners in this ministry perform the essential task of letting a fellow parishioner continue to feel attended to and cared for throughout his/her time of need.
Special Needs. Parishioners in this ministry are on "stand-by" notice to meet needs not met in the other categories. Providing transportation, running errands, helping someone who is temporarily unable to do particular chores or home maintenance – these are the kinds of needs these parishioners may meet.
"Now you are the body of Christ and individually members of it."
